Jose was born in Detroit.  He moved to Northern Virginia at a young age, went to high school in Manassas and graduated from George Mason University, with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  After graduation, he worked in sales, marketing and customer support, managing operations in India and all over Europe for 30 years.  He is a current member of the George Mason Alumni association, and still an avid Detroit Lions fan.  Jose loves vintage cars, having owned and sold several classic mustangs over the years.  He also loves to play golf and tennis and does so as often as his knees will allow.

Jose has worked with many diverse clients in his career, which allows him to help clients of all backgrounds find the homes of their dreams.  He knows what an important, and sometimes life-altering decision purchasing a new home can be, and relishes his role in helping all of his clients through this incredible journey.  Whether you are a first-time home buyer or someone who has bought and sold several homes, Jose will adapt to your needs and provide you with the exact kind of support and guidance you need.

Having grown up and lived in this area most of his life, Jose is very familiar with the current landscape but also appreciates the history.  For example, he remembers when data centers, shopping centers, office buildings and the myriad of neighborhoods were far and few between, scarcely spread between a sea of forest and open farmland.  He has seen the rapid growth and understands the nationwide appeal to live and work in this rich and dynamic part of the US.  He looks forward to the opportunity to help you navigate through the sometimes daunting task of finding that perfect home.  

Jose met his wife in high school and they recently celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.  They currently live in Berryville, along with their 16-year-old Havenese dog.  They have two grown children.  His daughter graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg and currently lives in Ashburn.  His son graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg and lives in Winchester.
