Lovettsville

Lovettsville has been a thriving, small community since it was originally settled by German immigrants in the 1730s. Today, Lovettsville is known for its small-town character.

Lovettsville is just 14 miles northwest of Leesburg. The town is located along Route 287, nine miles north of Route 7 and the town of Purcellville, and three miles south of Brunswick, Maryland. The MARC commuter rail system has a station in Brunswick that provides a convenient commuting option to downtown D.C.

In Lovettsville, local restaurants and wineries dot the landscape, mixed with modern neighborhoods. Lovettsville’s yearly events include Oktoberfest, Mayfest, Christkindlmarkt, and Bezerkle on the Squirkle. The town also hosts movies and concerts on the green at the Walker Pavilion monthly during the warm-weather months.
